To enhance the quality of life for persons living with Sickle Cell Disease by addressing their medical, social, psychological and information needs. To increase community awareness about Sickle Cell Disease and the Sickle Cell Trait through education; To provide a vehicle of information to forge governmental and legislative relationship to encourage research in hopes of facilitating a cure for this chronic disease.
